One of the things I love most about cruising up the lake from the boat or jet-ski are the mountain views. What makes this ride even more enjoyable is the leaves are starting to turn. One of the reasons I choose this area relocating from San Diego was knowing not only to have this 56,000 acre lake to play, live, work in is this area is in the foothills of the mountains. That was a plus for me!!! You are close to Helen, Dahlonega, Cashiers, Blue Ridge, and many more. It is a great area for waterfalls, hiking, bike riding (motor and pedalling) and much more. Check out on and around the lake.
